Finally managed to record a new piano cover.
As a fan of the Yakuza/Ryu ga Gotoku game series I was playing through the recently released Yakuza Zero. There was this highly emotional scene at the end of chapter 6, accompanied by a beautiful soundtrack. Sadly, this guitar track isn’t available through the official soundtrack. So I decided I HAD to make my own piano cover of this track and I think I turned out pretty well. As always the download link is down below.
Enjoy!

if I was Nishiki I would actually shoot Kiryu the next time i see him. The guy risked his ass to give Kiryu a ride out of the city, had a mental struggle about having to shoot his brother, and then Kiryu just say: "Yeah bruh, so we gonna cut tie here, oh and I'm taking your car, have fun walking back"

  2. Jaison Joykutty says:

I absolutely loved yakuza zero, played kiwami 2 and it crushes you spoiler alert……..when he turns evil and dies in the end, especially after going through everything in yakuza zero……makes me wonder if I should even play the rest, since they kill off most characters after kiwami

  3. A K says:

The OST from this scene was so beautiful and I always wanted to know why it was just never available. It's just a gorgeous sound and the scene itself is so intensely done, I feel like I'm in love.

I feel so bad for Nishiki 🙁

  4. Joshua Madoc says:

Well, this sucks, I guess this theme was built into the cutscene, and not part of the unreleased soundtrack. At least there's still the other one that plays when Tachibana talks about his past.

  5. Chaos Triumphant says:

You know. I know you probably won't read this but.
There's a cutscene in the first yakuza game, back in 2006.
It plays in two key moments, right before the confrontation with nishiki and when kiryu reveals he's the fourth chairman of the tojo clan.

I've seen many people wanting to hear that one track solo, including me.

    For 10 years I've wanted.

    Tell me.

What would i need to give you in order for you to recreate it?

  6. 4th Chairman says:

You are an absolute legend! Can I ask if you haven't already please do receive you. I know it's a guitar mainly theme but piano would sound so beautiful. However I'm aware of how difficult it is to cover instrumental music.
